What resort has the biggest and best game room / arcade? As I kid, I remember being wowed by the Contemporary's game room. Is it still the biggest and best? I'd like to take my 7-year old to play some video games during our trip this September. Thanks for your help.

The CR game room is the best, in my opinion. My kids (and husband) loved it.

I have to agree with the above posters. CR is THE BEST arcade. You can win tickets for little prizes, too.

I have a 14 yr old son that has tried Poly & BC arcades, too, and he knows!! He got a kick out of winning prizes for his sisters, and they loved the little trinkets he came back to the room with for them. Poly had so many broken games & beach club just didn't have good ones.

Happy planning!

Contemporary! Even I don't mind spending time there. They have a cool system where you buy points and put them on a card - the size of a credit card. Each game take a certain amount of points. You swipe the card at the game and so on until all your points are gone. Then you can put more money or your credit card in this machine, swipe your game card and it reloads with more points. Could it BE any easier to spend money? It did save the hassle of getting change.

are you going to Disney Quest at all, because they have all the stuff that the CR arcade has but it is included in the admission you don't have to really pay for any of the games.

I remember being wowed too. When we stayed there way back the CR and Poly were the only resorts open and they were building the GF. Now I'm really dating myself! :earseek: I remembered being wowed by the whole resort. It did seem so futuristic back then. :sunny:

The Contemporary has better prizes for the tickets than DQ. Play the Wheel of Fortune if you want lots of tickets.

Space Mt also has a pretty neat arcade - no tickets for prizes, but they have several crane games, pin ball and other games. My son walked out with 9 small stuffed animals and gave several away to little kids.

My 12 yr old son is an arcade expert at WDW.

Then you have Chester and Hester's over at AK. If you get there early and have two family member play, at least one of you will get the prize for the game. We got four stuffed animals there last week. Games were about $2 or $3 a pop and we got three small and one medium stuffed animal.
