Have you played "Animal Crossing" yet? I just bought in two weeks ago and am now officially addicted.

Yes i have played it.....i found it was taking up way to much of my time also...LOL...I would find myself changing the time on my cube just to advance to the next day..LOL

My 11 year old DD plays it all the time! Apparently, her character does really well as she just added a new addition to its home! She loves buying clothes and redecorating on Animal crossing!

I have a DS 10 and a DD 8, would this be a good game for them, or is it more of an older kids game?

Otto's Doll, DS would like it! DD might be a bit young! My other DD(9 year old) also plays it, but is not very enthusiastic about it! It really depends on the maturity level. Although it is a cartoon, the characters have lives, jobs etc. You may want to rent it first at a Blockbuster video(or other game rental store).

thanks, AspiringCindy, that is a great idea, I will look for it. I think I may have bought this for my DD for her Gameboy XP. I should have him try that first.

Oh my! DD6 and DD3 have been playing Animal Crossing for a year! It is perfect for young children because there is no way to "die" or "lose". The game just goes on!

This is one of the few games they are allowed to play.
