Probably, although I 45 can really be a mess. What day of the week does your cruise and. I think I'd be more comfortable with this on a Saturday or Sunday then I would on a Friday.

If you got on a shuttle that left Galveston @ 8, you would likely get to IAH around 10. Security can be backed up, depending on the day.

The airport is massive- it could take 15 minutes to get to your gate after security.

Do you have TSAPre? You would want to ensure you had boarding passes good to go.

We don't know the answer until you tell us what day you disembark .Houston's traffic is some of the worst in the country, and during the week it's bordering on insanity.

We were on the 6 nt sailing that arrived in Galveston on Christmas Eve. Due to an incredibly long line of express walkoffs, it took us about an hour to exit the ship.

What sailing are you on that arrives in port on a Sunday?

In that case, I would imagine a 2 pm flight would most likely be plenty of time. I tend to give myself a *lot* of extra time to get to airports, even if I have to wander the airport or read a book for two or three hours once I get there. Having grown up in Houston, the one thing I learned was to *always* give yourself enough time to get somewhere because traffic can, and will, suck.

I'll have to let someone who cruises out of Galveston these days answer that, but I would imagine that taxis would be a very readily available commodity upon disembarkation.
