Galveston parking recommendations?

Thoughts /recommendations on parking at Galveston? Would prefer easy access as opposed to a longer shuttle

We have generally parked at the Port of Galveston lots. There is both a surface lot and a garage right in front of the two terminals that Disney might use. No need for a shuttle, and they regularly offer a discount code. The current one will save you $10 with the promo code NEWYEAR25

Thanks. The site says economy lot b and shies a shuttle. Is that the lot you were referring to?

In January 2024 we parked in the Express Lot right in front of terminal 28. It was worth the extra $. We dropped off the luggage then parked the car and walked to the terminal to board the Magic. After disembarking we dragged our luggage to the car, but one of us could have waited with luggage while the other brought the car around.

Those are available, but they do have a shuttle. Some people park in the express lot as the PP said, we like to park in the SMP garage.
