Galaxy's Edge Question

I was wondering how much time to allow for Galaxy's Edge. We will not be doing rides. We hope to eat at Ronto Roasters and hopefully Oga's Canteen( got to get that rezzy.). We are not Star Wars fans but interested in the area. Are there any shows? or is it mostly shops? Thank you for any input

Mostly shops if you're not interested in the rides(which you should be - both are great) but the land itself is fun to explore and take pictures in. We aren't Star Wars fans either and we saw it for the first time we were pretty blown away. I'd budget for 3 hours total if you plan to do Ogas and explore everything else fully, and additional time if you plan on building a lightsaber or droid, riding anything, or even shopping at Dok Ondars for anything as it can get crowded.

If your not going in for the rides I’d say maybe delegate at minimum an hour and a half + cantina time that’s just me

Thank you. My friend has Vestibluar Disorder and is not able to do the rides. I will do them when I go on a solo trip

I would also suggest Oga's as its fun and great theme. The shops are fun to walk through and they are in several locations.

Several places.
Where they have some of the land speeders there is a level above them and you can see Chewy, Rae some times storm troopers and some others.
By Kylo Rens ship, he will come out with Stormtroopers. They have really fun interactions with the crowd.

We've been to Galaxy's Edge 3 times now, but our first time at night this last Saturday. It's beautiful. Do they ever have characters come out at night? (we've seen them during the day).

I don't recall ever seeing characters out at night, but that doesn't mean they don't.

Rey came out to work on the Millennium Falcon before coming out to the crowd, which is how my kids got a photo with her.
Vi Moradi, a character from a Batuu-set novel, also is walking around. Because she's not from a film or show, she walks around pretty freely, unrecognized until someone like me grabs her for a photo.
