Galaxy's Edge impact on DHS

Maybe they could change that horrible Star Wars " fireworks " show they have at Hollywood studios now to help... lol ( Imo )

Anyway, yeah it most likely will. I think FOP is a huge reason why pandora is so popular. I hope the rides at Star Wars land will have that same impact

I don't see it making the " Harry Potter " type impact though. Harry Potter at universal took the books and movies and brought that world to life in ways I never thought possible.

I think the " introducing guests to a Star Wars planet you've never seen before " kinda puts a damper on it for me. When I walked into diagon alley at US, I was like HOLY COW. Since you're not really seeing a land from the movie ( I would have loved for them to make the Jedi temple, or that whole planet in general in the park), it kinda makes me think I won't have that feeling.

Either way though its gonna be a massive hit. I am just curious how the theming is going to look and feel. I think the hotel is going to be great too.

I think we will see an even bigger bump in 2020 for Galaxy's Edge... remember that Avatar didn't open until almost half way thru 2017. Plus, attendance figures at DHS are low partially b/c it has had so few attractions for so long and yet its attendance still matches AK pre Pandora. AK was still a respectable park in terms of attractions before Avatar compared to DHS. I bet we will see a 5-6million increase.

In terms of attendance HP still isn't surpassing DHS pre TSL.I think it increased Universal's attendance about 1.3 in its first year and 1.7 million in its first full year, but you are right, part of me wishes we could get a full fledged Endor or Hoth( in the Florida summer!) or Yavin to explore.

Hey does anyone know what happens to Star Tours and Launch Bay when GE opens? No changes? And is GE only accessible through DHS or will there be separate entrance?

IMO, it will exceed HP several times over. It's going to be nuts. All you have to do is study the massive infrastructure that's being built to handle the crowds.
