Galaxy’s Edge Dec 17?

I don't really understand, this sense of fairness with the equal plain field thing, they are selling a product and they created tiers system that give privilege to people like my family, that are willing to put more money in their packets, to be able to consume theirs product without standing in line for hours to have it.

This is a business no a charity. If they remove the paying privileges or change their business model so consumer don't have to wait for hours to experience their products, I will never go back to their business
You only don't care IF you manage to get a fp. How would you feel if MFSR starts offering fps but you are not lucky enough to get one.
The current standby lines are around 70 to 90 min everyday, when fp is implemented the standby line will grow to at least 2 hours.
Also the new fp tier system at DHS is making getting a 4th fp for the popular rides easier than before, you can always just plan your fp accordingly so you scan the 3 in the first 3 hours of park opening then you could get a 4th and even 5th for popular rides

I completely agree with this.

The FP+ system at Disney World is kind of crazy. You're not really paying for the privilege of getting on rides faster - everyone has that ability. You're paying for a lottery slot that gives you a greater chance at success.

Personally, I'd almost prefer if Disney World went the Universal Orlando route with their Express Passes because at least that system is more in line with the "We give you money, and you get to cut the line" idea. The way Disney does it is so convoluted and at the end of the day it's still a roll of the dice.

yulilin3 we went to Disney last years during the Christmas week, the parks were so packed that I think they have shut down MK entrance because it was at capacity in the afternoon if I'm not mistaking.

We didn't have any issues getting fast pass for those times 60 days ahead of times, so I'm not worried about not getting fast passes.

I don't want to fly two hours to get to Orlando and then hope for the best when it comes to getting a fast pass. We didn't went to HS last Christmas because most rides looked boring to our kids, but I'm sure we wouldn't have any issues getting those fast passes when our 60 days clicked in. I don't think any of those HS rides at that time were most popular than Fly of Passage and we not only got fast passes to that ride but we changed it as well.

I don't care about fast passes, I only care about not doing long lines for a single rides during our vacation.

RoboFlyer I'm paying for the privilege by staying at a Disney hotel, getting 60 days ahead of time to do our fast passes and early magic hour.

We are going to Universal and are getting free unlimited Express Passes by staying at one of their 3 first tier hotels, so is just like Disney because we are not directly paying for it.

Plus we have family in Orlando, the only reason we stay at those hotels is because the benefits it give us.
