Well, let's see I gained 6 pounds in 7 days, if that's possible but obviously it is because here I am. We had a wonderful stay at the Swan and ate till we couldn' eat more...Part 2 of my reviews
Tuesday April 15: Le Cellier A+
One word for this place EXCELLENT. From the service to the food it was just perfect. We went for lunch and we got soft breadsticks as soon as we sat down and I started with the cheese soup...yummy. I had the appetizer of Mussels for my main course and they were fabulous, Hubby had a steak, and my son a huge burger. Everything was perfection. We had maple creme brulee and the chocolate mouse head for dessert. This place doesn't miss a trick. Highly recommend.
Tangeriene Cafe (spelling?) Morrocco for dinner. Excellent counter service food. There hummus was excellent and I also got their marinated olives, just right. I gave this place a B+
Wednesday April 16: Beaches and Cream B
Had steak sandwiches and burgers. They were good but not the best I ever had. I had the fudge brownie with icecream and sauce, my son had the strawberry shortcake and hubby the original sundae. It was good, but our waitress seemed very rushed and not to happy to be there.
Pecos Bills at night for burgers and fixings...don't flame me but I actually preferred their burgers over Beaches and Cream IMHO, their topping bar was great and I love that I can slather my fries with melted cheese.
Thursday April 17: Crystal Palace Lunch A
Food was GREAT! It was fresh and for a lunch buffet they had a ton of yummy food. There was Pork and beef and chicken and several salads and seafood...just very varied and pleasant. I loved their rainbow bread it was sooo pretty, all swirled with pinks, purples and blues
Kona Kafe for dinner: A
WOW! We continually return to this place, some of the best food in Disney. I ate sticky wings and pot stickers for my dinner and yes you guessed it (check my tag) Kileau Torte for dessert! My hubby had teriyaki (sp?) steak and my son had prime rib and the kiddie cone sundae. Very good food and excellent service. We love this place.
We also dined at Tubbies in the Dolphin one of the evenings (it's all starting to blurr...lol) for chicken soup and my hubby had fried chicken there, very good and VERY reasonable.
I have lost 5 of the 6 pounds already, must have been all water gain (yeah right
)
Blessings,
Emmy
