Gah! Can't decide on Cake Inscription

As stupid as it might be over an issue like this, I'm having a cake and champagne aboard the Grand 1 before I propose to my DGF. I just got an e-mail from Linda Sgallata about what should be inscribed on the cake and I can't make up my mind.

I don't want it to be anything that is obvious with relation to proposing as this will be one of the first things seen on the yacht and she doesn't know about any of it.

I had a few ideas but wanted to get some opinions of those of the opposite gender which this board is dominated with .

1. Our names in a heart
2. Our "pet" names for eachother in a heart
3. "Once upon a dream"
4. "A dream is a wish your heart makes"

What are your opinions and do you have any others to suggest?

My opinion, and it is just my opinion as I do not know you. I think the first 2 options are kinda cheesy. I am partial to once upon a dream because SB is me and Df fav movie and that is the song we are dancing too, and ti is what I had inscribed in his ring.

I think th e4th option is nice too.

This is the way I was currently leaning. If anybody has any additional ideas please let me know!

Is this a wishes sailing?
what about "a magical night" or "a night of wishes"
it will have another meaning after you purpose, but when you first board, she would think it was just what they put on the cake

Yes it is. I like this idea. Although, even after we board she won't know what its for. She's not aware of wishes cruises and I'm not sure I would let her know right from the start that that's what we would be seeing.

What does everyone else think about DisneyDmbNut's idea vs. "Once upon a dream"

Oh no, I wasn't referring to her not being tipped off about that. I was just saying that she won't realize that we'll be watching the fireworks from the boat. She doesn't know fireworks cruises exist.

I expect her to get an idea that something is up...although sometimes she can take a little while to catch on It's so cute.

Oh, and no we really don't have any song that is really "ours".

It sounds like she is going to have a wonderful memory regardless of what you put on the cake. Do you even HAVE to have writing on the cake? One less thing to stress over is always good! Especially if you are as nervous as my DF was about me figuring it out!

I decided to go with once upon a dream. I think that's about all they'll be able to fit on that size cake. I'm not really that concerned with her "finding out". If she puts it all together in the end, so be it. However, she definitely won't know its coming until the first surprise of the night and then after that it's just surprise, surprise surprise .
