We did the GAD volunteer project (Ronald McDonald House) as a family, including my 4 year old and 1 year old. They encouraged us to have the whole family get in on the service project.
Now...as we approach time to redeem the vouchers...any chance we will be able to use it for the 4 year old? (I know...it said 6 years and up when we signed up)

Ty!

Each voucher will have a name on it. There must be a photo ID for each person to redeem the voucher. The only exception is for children under 18 who need to have a copy of their birth certificate if a government-issued photo ID is not available.

If the child's name is not on a voucher it cannot be redeemd for them. If the child is under age 6 the child could not have been registered and a voucher issued in their name. If the identification shows the child was under age six at the time of the service the registration was incorrect and the voucher is invalid.

Our family of 5 also participated in GAD together, and our pre-schooler is too young for a GAD voucher. But the CM who redeemed our four vouchers also gave our pre-schooler a GAD button, so other CMs congratulated him on his service - it was great!
