GAD ticket and fastpass combo questions

There is a group of 9 of us going for one day in July. Six of us have the GAD vouchers which we plan to use for tickets, 3 others will purchase tickets.

So, a couple of questions:

First, can we purchase tickets at the same window that we will exchange the vouchers?

Second, I'm considering buying a ticket for myself and using my voucher for the fastpass option since we only have one day. I guess I'm not sure how I should go about it. If they won't give us fastpasses for all 9, I'd probably rather just get the free ticket. I guess this goes back to the first question, can I just ask them if they will give me 9 fastpasses? Would I need my ticket before getting the fastpasses, and could I just buy my ticket there, once it is determined that they would give 9 fastpasses? Or would this just be a whole mess of finding out that they will give 9 fastpasses, then getting online somewhere else to buy my ticket, then going back to get the fastpasses?

Yes, the "will call" window can also handle any ticket transactions.

However, to the the Fastpass Exchange Cards you must have a valid multi-day pass in hand. And you cannot upgrade a GAD ticket to other than an Annual Pass without entering a Park.

Thanks for your response. We will only have one day tickets, not multi-day, so I guess we wouldn't be eligible to get the fastpasses anyway?

If we will already have multi-day tickets, what is the fast pass option. Just trying to get details on this. There are 5 people in our party and all of us did the "give of day, get a day" promotion.

No, you would not be able to get the GAD Fastpass option. Your best bet is to keep your 1-day ticket for a future trip and use the GAD voucher for the 1-day ticket.

If you REALLY want the GAD Fastpass, it will cost you the price of upgrading your 1-day tickets to 2-days ($77+tax/adult currently).

Note that for EACH GAD voucher, you can get a Fastpass Exchange card for EVERYONE in your group.
