Hopefully Cheshire Figment will stumble upon my thread :surfweb:! I just needed my numbers checked so I can give my gf the numbers to motivate her to sign up for GAD. I'm working on my BP blankets today.

GAD voucher upgraded to 6dayMYW +WP and fun option:
Adult: $283 - 79.00= 204.00 x 6.5% (13.26 tax)= 217.26
Child: $250 - 68.00= 182.00 x 6.5% (11.83 tax)= 193.83

Hmm. ok now i would like to know when they add tax, before or after the gad voucher

kmermaid is correct. It is take the price of the ticket upgrading to, subtract the price of the ticket upgrading from, and then add the tax on the difference in price. And the numbers appear correct.

FYI, tax is (usually) never added before figuring out discounts. You normally only pay tax on the amount owed.

There are some exceptions to this, such as if you are receive a gift or win a prize, if it is over a certain amount, where you pay taxes on the worth of the item.
