GAD park ticket question

My mom and I are planning a quick trip with only 2 days in the parks. Which is the most economical way to utilize our GAD tickets? Should we buy our 2nd day ticket in advance or upgrade at the park after using our GAD on the first day?

My mom is a Florida resident and AAA member.
I'm a AAA member (not a Fla. resident).

You would save a few dollars off the gate price by adding a second day to the GAD ticket instead of purchasing another 1-day ticket in advance. Not much, but there is no reason to get the ticket in advance as you will not find any discount on a single day ticket (Disney does not sell them at a discount to ticket agents), and adding a day is a quick process at any ticket booth.

Your best choice for your mother, since she is a Florida Resident, is to use the GAD ticket and then upgrade to either the Four Day Dream Pass (if the program is still in effect) for $20 plus tax or to the Play-3 Pass for $55 plus tax.

For you it would be a toss-up as to paying $77 for the upgrade at the park to the second day or getting a one-day AAA Discounted Non-Resident (if it it worth the hassle).
