GAD out of state options

My mom is in New Mexico with little options. We are here in No Cal and doing the Binky Patrol.

Do you think my mom from NM can sign up for Binky Patrol and mail me her blankets?

For those that have used your GAD are they matching names, ID and/or physical addresses?

For anyone else wanting to know:

Can I search for and select a volunteer opportunity outside the zip code in which I live?

Yes. When you enter your zip code at the time of your volunteer opportunity search, you will be presented with valid opportunities in and around your community. However, you may volunteer for any of the available opportunities that are listed by HandsOn Network within the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Simply enter the zip code around which you would like to see results.

Due to the overwhelming response, it was announced that this was scheduled to end yesterday, March 5th. There is a thread about it on this page. If you or your Mom aren't already signed up, then it doesn't look like you'll be able to do the GAD program.

good luck with that binky patrol. we did all our hand quilted blankets only to have the lady not show or call us for the last 4 days. -.- haven't been able to get ahold of anyone in our area about it and so now we're under that 72hr validation thing and are gonna lost our tickets.. be ON TOP of those binky patrolers
