Does a GAC that we used last time still able to be used (2005) or should we bring it for requesting a new GAC. We are excited to go again! My child can really use it.. she had a status seizure event lasting 30 days and needs some fun!!! Me too!

Thanks,
Nicole Mom to three kiddos.. the little one (5) has Intractible Epilepsy and a brain tumor!!!

You will need a new one, but bring the old one along. It will help -- be sure to let the CM know any changes.

If you look at the bottom of your old one on the right side, you will see a 'valid thru' date. When they issue the GAC, the make it valid until the last day of your trip.

As was already mentioned, it will be helpful to have it to show the CMs when you request a new one. If you haven't already read it, you might want to check out the GAC information in the disABILITIES FAQd thread near the top of this board.

After I asked, I did look at the old GAC and saw the valid thru dates. She will need pretty much the same accomondations as last year's trip so I will just present it to them and explain our situation. I didn't know it had the valid thru dates on it. I guess that makes sense though since you wouldn't want them given to others for use.

Thinking of going in August so it will be much different for us then when we went in April of last year.. (we had to buy jackets it was cold)

Thanks,
Nicole
