My dd and I both suffer from invisible disabilities. She has sensory issues and we think Asperger's Syndrome (in the process of getting that diagnosed). I'm wondering if we should get a GAC for her. Would we need a doctor's note because I feel like I've read conflicting things about this? This will be our first trip with our dd and I am really confused about the GAC because I wouldn't even know what to tell them that she needs because I'm not sure myself what they could do to help her since I don't know what to expect when we are at the parks. What specific things might help her?
Also with me I suffer from nerve pain and require a cushion to sit on. I was told by a customer service person that I should be able to use it on most rides. I'm still worried though and don't want to get there and find out they won't let me take it on anything. Would one of these cards help so that they would know I needed it for medical reasons not just because I want a cushy seat?
Thanks
