We have used the GAC card in the past for my daughter with Down Syndrome. I was just wondering if I could go to guest relations DTD to request one? Or is it only in the parks? Thanks so much!!

Just agreeing with Cheshire Figment; it is only in the parks or at the Guest Relations right outside of a park entrance.

There is more information about Guest Assistance Cards in post #6 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread. There is a link in my signature, or you can find that thread near the top of the thread list for this board.

If your asking because you will be visiting DTD before you go to a park then I just wanted to let you know that when we were there, the only place a GAC would have helped us was at Quest, but we told them our needs and that we had not gone to park yet and they helped us out.

That is helpful to know. We're going to DTD the day before we go to the parks, and hadn't even considered that this might be an issue.

Guest Assistance Cards are officially only for use in the 4 Theme Parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney Hollywood Studio and Animal Kingdom), so whether you have a GAC or not won't really matter for DisneyQuest; you will still need to explain the beds and they will let you know what kind of assistance they may be able to provide.

If you have not been to DisneyQuest, there is some infoation I just added about it in post #3 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread near the top of this board ( or use the link in my signature to get there ).

Um, I think Sue meant "...explain the needs and..." :teeth: I bet she was typing on her phone again ;)
Yeah, you caught me...

And, as an added impediment today, I was at work and had no electricity in my office.
