my son is primarily feed by a g tube. He has a pump for his feedings. He also requires several medications throughout the day. I know all our bags will be inspected when entering the park. We pre-measure his medications in syringes so it's ready to give it in his g tube. All his syringes have home made labels on them. Will Disney have a problem with this?

no not at all I carry all kinds of medical supplies in with me and they have never had a problem with it I just say this is my medical bag and explain briefly what is in it ( you do not have to do this) and they barrly look in it

also first aid will hold anything you need for you and give you space if needed to feed your little one if you think it will help ( I do not know when you are going but sometimes just being in AC for a little with out a lot of people can be so nice)

We are going in Feb so hopefully it won't be too hot. We've been twice in Feb. Once it was perfect & the other time it was chilly.

I wouldn't think so! I carried my EpiPen with me last time and they had no issue. I would perhaps make a copy of the prescriptions to carry with you just in case, but I doubt it will be an issue! Disney is very accommodating.

I can tell you there will be no issue. I bring in iv medications, lots of sharps, etc for dd and security has never batted an eye. The only time we've really been looked at closely was when we had o2 tanks on the Fourth of July. That earned us a security tag asking about our plans for the evening as we walked to dumbo.

The main things they are looking for are people bringing in alcohol and anything that could be used as a weapon.

So long as your items don't look suspicious in those ways, you should be just fine.
And, another vote for First Aid. There is one in each park. They can store medication and supplies for you and they have a variety of treatment rooms where you could do tube feelings if you want to.

I have used first aid to store Gtube supplies and do tube feeds. It was wonderful. As everyone else has said, you will be fine going through security. I couldn't help buy notice your name. My husband donated a kidney to one of my son's friends. They celebrated their 3 year "kidneyversay" yesterday. She is 7 now :)

Awesome!! Congrats to your friend!! My son was born with chronic kidney failure... We've been given all the worse case scenarios such as he wouldn't leave the NICU unless he was on dialysis....nope. He wouldn't make it to age 1 before his kidney failed....didn't happen. He's our miracle boy. He only has one functioning kidney and I call it the little kidney that could. We know he will need a kidney transplant someday & it warms my heart knowing there are people like your husband!

Ha!! We call their "Jaggie- the little kidney that could." Jaggie = Josh + Maggie, their names :) Does he have FSGS? Maggie was on dialysis. Her mother wasn't a match and her father was, but got to the last step in the donor testing and found out he had kidney stones.

The only issue we had was our son had his backpack attatched to him but on the back of his wheelchair and my son was bringing it around for him to inspect it when the cm tried to pull it from him not understanding it was attched to him. I was able to grab it and yell NO before he ripped his tube out! But havent have any trouble since then and we have been back a couple of times.
