G+ Can No Longer Be Added to One Day Ticket Ahead of Time

Hi.

Last week I purchased a ticket for my friend and added G+. We are going in April, off site. Three couples, guys golfing but we want to go to MK
I'm AP.
Today, I purchased a ticket for the other friend (since she just gave me her CC today) and could not add G+.
I was on hold for almost an hour and when I asked the CM, I was put on hold again for a while then to be told starting today, G+ cannot be added to one day tickets, until day of.

I was informed that I can take off the G+ for the other friend so I can do this all together the night before we go (well after midnight).
I am guessing I should do this since it will be easier for me since I'm an AP and would already have to call some special number before 7 am day of since I'm off site, and someone in my party already has G+, what a stupid mess.

I asked if this is true about taking off G+ and getting refunded for my friend since I didn't think that G+ was refundable. The CM said yes, I just have to explain my situation to the ticket people. Lordy. Then he said the ticket people would call me back. I asked if I could hold and he said it would be over an hour. Okay, I get that and thanks. I said that an hour from now I'll be leaving work and driving and not sure if I could do the call then, just thinking out loud, and he actually laughed at me. I said it wasn't funny and he said he wasn't laughing at me but obviously he was. This is a first for me with a CM. Hopefully I won't be driving (I am not connected to bluetooth) and having to stop and looking for a confirmation number in my emails when they call me so we can get this worked out.

Just wanted to pass on the new news that G+ cannot be added to one day tickets. Not sure about multiple days.
 
Well an update is that I did get a call back already on my cell.
But the person took my name and email again and made notes and then said he had to switch me to
Ticket something, which I thought was what was calling me back.
When he went to switch me, I heard a recording that said, "once you hear the music, you should transfer the call", well
I hear music but who knows if the call was transferred. It never sounded like I was transferred and reput back on hold.
It's been 32 minutes, not sure what I should do. I have to go in a few minutes and need to use my GPS since my car is ready at the shop and need to meet my dh at the place. What a stupid mess.
I guess once I hang up, I should press tickets tomorrow and hopefully they see my notes?
 
I bought one-day tix thru the Disney website last Saturday and was able to add G+ at time of purchase. If that is no longer allowed, it has changed in the last 3 days.

I purchased a one day ticket on Monday and added G+. Yesterday I purchased another one for a friend. Didn't see where I could add it, called and was told as of yesterday, it is no longer an option.


I was then told I can have it taken off the one that I did purchase it for, which after reading it will make my life easier when booking at 7 am, I opted to do. I was then transferred to somewhere else, Ticketing something. I was on the call for over an hour and disconnected.

Today when I got into work, I called again and after an 80 minute hold re-explained myself all over again. Was transferred again to Ticketing and now as I type, I've been on hold so far for 2 hours and 17 minutes. I feel like no one will ever answer.

I did the same wed night and Thursday morning. They said impossible to add. Now we have 2 people with it and 2 people without.

Does one of them have an AP. If so, you will have trouble and will need to call before 7 am the morning of.

No one has an AP. But I haven't bought my son and my ticket. I am now nervous that they are not selling pre-paid Genie Plus so they can announce that now April, which is peak season, Genie Plus is $50 pp. I also am super nervous about 2 people starting at HS and 2 at Epcot. How does that work for when I want to book all 4 of us at 2:00 for Remy?
