FYI - TSA is not playing around right now!

Has the "last hour" rule changed about going to the bathroom aboard planes during the last hour of flight before landing?
I haven't had any problems standing up in the last hour of a flight. Even immediately after the underwear bomber incident.

Then again, my travel patterns for the past year have been mainly on non-US airlines which have crews and operate under regulations that seem to have more common sense than the overly paranoid US.

The only time you cannot use the bathrooms is when the fasten seat belt sign is lit. This usually happens about 20 minutes or so before landing, during take-off, and when the pilot deems it necessary (turbulence, etc.) There is no "one hour" rule.
