Over on some of the other boards there are "rumors" that ticket prices may go up this coming Sunday. Just an FYI to keep your eyes open.

(I am monitoring because my AP expires 8/9. I will probably just go order a new one since the "renewal" will waste a few months. No trip and no time to go until October!)

Do the prices go up immediately at the online places too? I need to buy a ticket for my son for December and I was wondering if I should just get it now before the prices went up. I was going to get the ticket from undercovertourist and I wonder if they would increase their prices the same day as Disney?

I know that last year the rumor was true and we renewed at the better price. I was hoping to use the Disney Visa reward card to help with the price, but I'm not going to wait for it to come.

Thank you.

PS. I think that last year some of the off site retail ticket did hold the line for a bit, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Do you think it will be a significant increase for the AP :confused3 if it is only a small amount I will wait to buy :)

Thoughts:confused:

Last year I ordered my Tickets (although I did and still do not need them) on Undercovertourist on the Monday after the prices went up and they still had the old prices. I believe the announcment came friday aftrenoon :lmao: and took effect Sunday but I could be wrong. I would not bank on them keeping the old price I would buy them now as if they do not raise them this week it will most likely be soon as it is a trend for them to raise them every year and for a while now it has been around August...
My best advice is to buy now if you can afford to as the prices will go up sooner or later and I would put my money on sooner.

Someone posted on the Theme Park board that the avg AP price increase was $25. (not sure if that is small or not)

I have no idea if they will increase the prices...... Not sure what I am going to do, just sit and wait I think!

Online brokers usually hold the old prices for a couple of weeks while they exhaust their supply in stock.

Prices thru Disney outlets (website, Disney Stores, APs thru DVC) should all go up at the same time.

Guess I will have to keep a close eye on this one. I hate to spend $400 before I have to.

Thanks for the heads up.
I have 3 1 day tickets that I was hoping to upgrade to 10 day no-exp hoppers. Am I correct to assume the only place I can do that is at Disneyworld?

does anyone know if I buy my ap before I go can I then apply credit for a one day unused ticket and get some money back?

I can tell you that undrecovertourist raised thier prices on Tuesday after I purchased my tickets last year and Ticket mania had raised them that Monday. I did check as I was curious myself. However they may be different brokers who have different systems I know some buy tickets from Disney as they are purchased and stock very few where as others may buy in bulk and other may wnat to make a few extra $

Thanks for the heads up! We have AP vouchers already but the rest of our group of 15 will need tickets for November.

Thanks Carol.

We were going to order our tickets in a couple of weeks....I just put the order in now on a CC and we'll just PAY for them in a couple week.

Do APs start when you activate the voucher, or the date of purchase?

NOT renewal - on new AP's.
