FYI Sept/Oct Pool Closings at Atlantis

I just found out from another poster that a couple of the pools will be closed for maintenance. Per the Atlantis website: River Pool closed 9/6-10/6 and Poseidon's Kids Pool Closed 9/6-10/13. I'm hoping there will still be plenty of pool/water activities for my 3 and 5 year old children. I'm sure there will be as there are so many others listed, but just thought I'd let anyone planning on going there know about it.

A week or so ago they offered rates at a major discount. I bet this is why.

The Posedien kids pool is very small, you won't miss it. I'm assuming the river pool is the lazy river ride (tubes, etc.). The pools with the slides will still be open as will several other little pools including the zero entry pool which is great for the kids!

If you're going to go, you'll still enjoy! Have fun!

I was one of those who got the "major discount". I'm not unhappy about it though as you mentioned there are like 10 pools/slide areas. No, the lazy river one is different, so right now, I think its still open.

Good for you, that was a SUPER rate! I wonder which one was the river pool then. We were there for a week and I didn't even see all the pools.

Enjoy yourself!! We have a one night room during our cruise in December so we can go for the day and use the pools. Looking forward to it.
