FYI: Release Date for Haunted Mansion Game

I am in a room right now with a bunch of CL's and a cast member. Apparently, yavn has announced that the HM game will be out during the Thanksgiving season and in Fantasyland of all place. I have not confirmed this face-to-face, but it is what this CL was told by him.

Actually, in the Tokyo Disneyland, the Haunted Mansion is in Fantasyland. I remember reading that they placed it there because of how the Japanese culture views ghosts and spirits and so on.

Maybe they're putting it in Fantasyland in VMK to incorporate parts of all the Disney theme parks?

Also, FYI, in Disneyland Paris, the Haunted Mansion is in Frontierland, but it's not called the Haunted Mansion. It's Phantom Manor.

This is just an idea: Today in yavn's room, alyuel said that magic carpet would come out in Fantasyland. So maybe it will come out with some random event or with the opening of Haunted Mansion based on this new information.

The Haunted Mansion was in different named lands in all the parks (not sure about Hong Kong).

I believe that I read that in Hong Kong the Haunted Mansion is in Fantasy Land because of their belief about "spirits." Could be wrong.

With the limited room capacity this might not be a good idea. However an edited transcript of the "meeting" would be nice.

Just to clarify, this was *NOT* a CL meeting, but a lot of CL's were around. I think truth may be in the idea that it will be in Fantasyland due to the Hong Kong DL layout. Great work on that!

Cinnamon, VMK Staff cannot send out invitations to only CL's as of right now. Instead, they'd wind up going to all members. This is something they're trying to work on at the moment.

i guess that haunted mansion won't be the only ride in the magic kingdom which is in different lands if HKDL will have theirs in fantasyland like TDL
