I just printed a shipping label (yes, I'm late...hanging my head in shame) and I saw where we will not be able to just print the address labels with free DC starting in May. You will be able to print with postage, but not just the labels.

Was't sure if this has been mentioned yet or not...it was news to me....

Well, that bites.. that is the main reason I print before going to the PO...

Thanks for the heads up... What a bummer...

The last few things I sent I have paid the postage at home, then when I go to the PO, I just had the box over. They have been flat rates though...

Forgot about that.
Good thing it still works okay for prepaying the flat rate, but it totally stinks if you need to weigh the box.

Wonder how they were losing money? I can see any other reason for doing away with paying for postage at the post office.

Hi there,

Marlynnp is right if you do download the USPS shipping assistant software which is on marlynnp's post then you should be alright. It is very easy to use and you can save all the address so you don't have to keep typing them out.

Never knew it. That would save me so much time.

I went over there and looked. I can not figure out how to print a flat rate slip without putting in a weight. Can anyone help me?

Does anyone know if I could use it to print return labels? I suppose it would be difficult with some swaps (like suprise) as you don't know what people have made, but for things like recipe swaps things are pretty even I would think.
