From May 23 through Aug. 14, Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island will temporarily operate as an un-gated area, allowing clients to free-flow through Pleasure Island during evening operations, without admission and enjoy Pleasure Island shops, restaurants, Westend Stage entertainment and the nightly midnight "New Year's Eve" fireworks display.

Admission will still be required for entry into any of the eight Pleasure Island nightclubs and is included with an Ultimate Park Hopper Ticket, Park Hopper Plus Ticket or purchased for $20.50 (before tax) per adult.

Oh, that is soooo coooool! I totally wish we were going during that time. I really like a drink that they serve at the Beach Club but I don't like going to the Beach Club so I always end up getting it from the outdoor vendors. It would be very cool to end a night after a dinner at Wolfgang Pucks with a Great White and not have to pay the admission, or use a plus, just to get it.

Oh I wish I knew - you have no idea how many nights I wished I had not been so ditzy and had asked someone... but to the best of my guessing it is a souped up Pina Colada with 151 in it and then they drizzle (pour sometimes) 151 over the top of it. I have been mentioning this drink over and over again on the board and no one ever knows what it is. I am starting to wonder whether or not they still serve it. The last one I had was three years ago. Yup, its that good that I have been pining over it for years and years. The last time we were there I was pregnant and had to forgo my long adored drink and forgo PI altogether.

Fancy seeing you here "Miss Castle"! Started into PI just 2 weeks ago when DH and I were wandering all over Downtown Disney. Decided I was wearing waaaay too many clothes to be seen there. Those folks are SHAMELESS and make me feel OLD!!!! I'll just stick to the restaurants there (some of our favs) and I believe things will be much better for all concerned!
