We are booked for the Fantasmic Dinner Package on 9-1-03.
No one's called yet....
I wonder if they'll offer the parties already booked their choice of

Gosh darn it, I haven't been there in a while and was looking forward to it. That's our last night there, but rearranging is tough as we arrive too close to cut it on Friday and MGM is closed early
Saturday. I was going to do MK on Sunday as the SM parade is running (instead of Saturday which is always pretty maniacal.....)

We also had made a PS for lunch on Tuesday, September 15. They probably won't call. My cousin is going to call tomorrow to see what the deal is.....Don't really know what we are going do now as we already have a PS for Primetime the night before.

My cousin called and confirmed our PS for the Brown Derby. The CM told my cousin that they just weren't offering the Fantasmic package at that time.....

Ok, jordenyosh, so your PS was confirmed? But it wasn't for the fantasmic dinner package right? Maybe that means that PARTS of the restaurant will be closed during all of September, but not the whole restaurant at any one time? That may be why they wouldn't be offering the Fantasmic dinner package, because of lower capacity?
Hmmm, time for a phone call tomorrow and I'll post back.

No, ours is for a lunch.....You may be right about reduced capacity. I am going to have my cousin call again just to make sure. Maybe between the two of us, we can get a definitive answer.

I just made a reservation for the Fantasmic pkg at the Brown Derby for Sept 23. I was told earier this week it was closed for rehab during the month of Sept. I had to change a reservation and just thought I'd ask again. I hope this isn't an error on their part. They did give me a confirmation number. I'll keep my fingers crossed, we really wanted to eat there.

I called to confirm my 9-1-03 Fantasmic dinner package ressie.
Yes, it is all set. I also asked for that Friday 9-5 (just to see if the Fantasmic package was available) and the reservationist said there was availability for that day as well.

So maybe it's as originally thought, a reduced capacity as they rehab Brown Derby section by section?

I ALSO HAVE A RESERVATION FOR A FANTASMIC DINNER PACKAGE FOR SEPT. 18 AND I CHECKED TWICE ON THIS PRIORITY SEATING WHEN I HEARD ON THESE THREADS THAT IT WAS CLOSED IN SEPTEMBER. I SPOKE WITH A SUPERVISOR AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE BROWN DERBY IS NOT CLOSED IN SEPTEMBER AND THAT MY RESERVATION WAS JUST FINE.

I heard from my WD Travel today that the Brown Derby will be closed as of September 14th!
