fyi georgia tax refunds...

a bit of good news for once! i finished up our taxes last tuesday using turbotax and filed our georgia state return on wednesday. we are getting money back (which NEVER happens) on the state return, and even though i am not filing the federal return till 4/15 since we owe, i figured i'd get a jump on the state.

much to my complete surprise, when i logged on to online banking this morning, my refund was deposited today i can't believe that they accepted the return on thursday, and 2 banking days later, it is sitting in my bank account. i'm flabbergasted, but thrilled!!!

also, i itemize, so it's not the short form either...

That's amazing! Last year, it took so long to get our state refund back that I had forgotten about it! We haven't filed our refund yet for this year.
