For anyone who's thinking of a DS for their kids during their travel time to Disney or anywhere else:
Starting today, Target and Walmart have lowered their prices on a Nintendo DS Lite to $100. But even better, Toys R Us has their DS stock on sale for $90 this week!
Target also has DS games on sale, like Lego Star Wars III for $25 and Lego POTC for $25. Toys R Us has Lego POTC for $20.
Santa got DD a DS for Christmas when she was 5 and her younger brother has not forgotten it. He is turning 5 in September, 10 days before we leave for Disney, and he keeps reminding us that his sister got a DS when she was 5. We were going to buy him a DS for Christmas, but because of our trip and the fact that we're driving, we're going to give it to him for his b-day instead.
I tried to buy a blue one online at TRUS this morning to pick up at the store, but they cancelled the order because they were all out. I was not able to buy one online and have it shipped to our home, either.
So, DH took the TRUS ad he got from the newspaper to Walmart for a price match and they sold him the blue DS for $90 + tax at the TRUS advertised price.
I've always appreciated it when someone would post a sale price or coupon that I wasn't aware of, so I'm returning the favor in case someone is interested!
