Update, with a prediction:

I went into the host quest tonight. I asked Fin why they have to get rid of the 'shirt bug' as it is a simple enough fun bug.

She said, "No. It is a very bad bug. It must be fixed right away."
I asked, "Oh - ok. Why is it so bad?"
She said, "Trust me. It is very bad."

I left it at that, but - and now my prediction - the only reason I could see this being "very bad" is if it is the following:

Could it be the following: Baseball jerseys are coming soon and that somehow what is happening on the vmk server is that we are picking up that image. Maybe??? When you turn your character so the "open shirt" appears, I swear there is a "D" on the shoulder - just like a baseball jersey.

Thoughts?

I'm disappointed that they're fixing it. We really liked the fact it looked like a baseball jersey...and with it being a blue/red look, it reminded us of our favorite hometeam: the Cubs!

I could see them doing something similar in the future with jerseys, but I wouldn't necessarily qualify the bug as being "very bad" if that were the reason. They sometimes make mountains out of molehills.

Actually, it's probably a bad bug because of an error in the programming code for the program. And coding errors leave holes in the program, which make it easier for someone to hack into the system. Which could be disasterous... Oh the joys of computer programming.

Well I also thinks it's bad for the poor kids that are trading big for them because they have no idea of the bug. Guess this calls for excsessive picture taking to remember another memorable bug.

programming bugs reveal incompetence, and there's no room for that in Disney organizations, so yeah... very bad.

What do they do if you bought it refund your credit for it?

Since I bought that shirt, I think they should let me keep the shirt(s) i bought and fix the old shirts and leave my new one alone

I have to put my own 2 cents in on this one.

I happened to stroll into VMK, a little late last night.

I hopped into my friends trade room to chat about VMK and possibly trade.

I saw a Guest who had, somehow, Fireworks Magic. (Must be good at that game..)

Then I saw another trader who was trying to trick the Guest into thinking that is a rare shirt.

Being the helping person that I am, I stood up for the Guest, telling him not to trade for it because it was still being sold.

Then, the trader says, You are not telling the truth! It is not for sale!
Look!

I did. It is still there, for 100 credits. I told him not to trick people and he told me something, in VMK tongue, that I will never repeat. (It was actually just ###, but I got the point)

I did the only thing left to help those traders. I hit the dreaded report button. Clearly this person just wanted to scam the traders, and get all of their stuff for a 100 credit shirt.

This is what they mean by causing problems. People know that the Hong Kong T-Shirt Blue is out, but they do not know its secret, causing them to trade almost enough to get an Inferno for a simple shirt. I am going to keep tracking down this type of scammer, and eliminate them for good!

EDIT: The side of the jersey looks like a Boston Red Sox logo, or possibly the Cincinatti Red Socks, back when they were in existence.
