FW to WL?

I know you can take a boat from FW to WL, but I read somewhere about a 1 mile path as well that can be walked. If I have a Trail's End Restaurant dinner is it safe/lit up at night to walk?

Yes, the path is about a mile. No, it's not lite. I don't think I would walk it after dark. Besides the boats (either green or blue), the FW internal bus (orange) stops at WL.
