We will be staying in the cabins at FW Oct 31st - Nov 11th. We have a 8:10am ADR at CP on Nov 1st and tickets for MNSSHP that night. My 3 year old grandson's first trip so afternoon breaks are a must. Does it make sense to drive in the morning to get a close parking space at the TTC, use the resort boat back and forth for the afternoon break, then drive home (probably before the second parade)? Or should we just use the boat? MK opens at 9 that day but would like to be at the park by 7:45 to take a couple of pictures on out walk to CP. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea.....leaving the car for a quick get away at the end of the evening that is. But for us, part of the charm and atmosphere of Disney has always been using Disney transportation, especially the boats and monorail. I think if your in line for the boat at the right time there may be little time savings and it would be one less thing to worry about, getting your vehicle back to the resort. Either way I think you'll be ok.....Sorry not much help.

Going, I would take the boat from FW to Contemporary then walk to MK. The boat that circles Bay Lake tends to start earlier, if I remember right, than the direct boat to MK. This way at the end of the night you can just take the boat directly back to FW and not have to take the monorail or ferry back to TTC first to get to your car.

Yes. you would have to take the boat to CR if you're using it in the a.m.

The boat to CR starts running around 6:45 each morning, but the boat to MK starts around 30 minutes before park opening.
