I know FW reservations go through CRO like all others, but how much of a request can you make? I would imagine at least for a certain loop; I've read of others requesting sites while at FW...By the time you get there and are checking in, can you still even make a request?? Seems they would already have you assigned to a site....Or I am completely off here?!!

Yes, you need to have special requests added to your reservation before you go. We've always requested the 1500 loop when we make the reservation, and we've always gotten it! :cool1:

I read somewhere you can fax a request in about a week prior to going.. I think there is a sample letter on allears.net

I plan on doing this for my request.

Actually about six months ago allears.net started reporting that Disney was trying to get out of the "business" of faxed room requests. allears.net has even removed the page that explained how to fax a request (unless I missed it).

Apparently Disney wants all requests to go through CRO and be noted on the reservation

We had a little problem last month when we checked into FW. First problem since we started going in '79. CM gave us a FW business card and told me to make sure I call FW at 407-824-2727 about 5 days before scheduled check-in to verify the requests were noted when making original reservations.

That's what I was told.

I concur with John ... we were told FW does not know about your ressie until 4 or 5 days before you get there. We go with 4 days, but usually forget anyway so it doesn't matter.

The only time we faxed, they never got it, and we started from scratch when we checked in. I would call ....
