FW Internet Access Questions

We are planning a trip to WDW in May and are staying at FW. We have reserved a preferred site. I teach online and I will need to have internet access for about 4 hours each day while I am there. (I know that's not ideal, but it's unavoidable...we'll use it as our rest/eat/DH-DD swim time.) I understand that the preferred sites have internet access and that you rent a modem from FW. These are my questions: do ALL of the preferred sites have internet access? Are there enough of the modems available so that I don't have to worry about getting one? Is there a way to reserve one? Also, how reliable is the service? I read an earlier post in which the poster stated that there was a problem with the wiring (on FW's side) and he didn't have access for several days. If this were to happen to me, I could lose my job! Would it really be better for me to stay in a hotel to ensure internet accessibility? (Trust me, I don't want to do that, but I will if I have to.)

Any input or advice you can give me will be greatly appreciated!

I would check into a cingular air card or verizon air card they both give you broadban wireless also sprint has one too.

Thank you for the suggestion, I will check into that. I've heard of them but I'm not all that familiar with the cost, etc. But that may be the best solution, then I wouldn't have to worry about "a problem with the wires"! :wave2:

I know this is probably not the best idea in the world but you can always get a wireless card (about $26) and go to a Starbucks or simlar coffee shop. Many Libraries have wireless internet along with many McDonalds and other resturants. I haven't been to Disney in years but there has to be a Starbucks somewhere close. This would be free. Also many hotels have wireless internet service. I don't know about Disney Property Hotels but many hotels provide free wireless service. You can sit in a hotel lobby.
