Okay it's been a while since we have been to the Fort:sad2: But we were camping this past weekend in MD and saw someone with a hitch cover, it was the oval, and had FW on it. Do they have them in the stores at FW ? anyone seen them? have I been out of the loop that long?:)

didn't see one of those but wan't looking for one since I have Tink...however I do have a FW sparetire cover..they come in 2 sizes!!!

We were just there, and yes, they are available at both trading posts.

I picked up one of the FW ones last year. I think it was 13-15 dollars and is only plastic with no way to lock it on with a hitch pin. I have used it off and on since then and it seems to hold up okay, but is highly pilferable without a way to lock it. I prefer my solid aluminum mickey.

Ftwildernessguy, is everything "highly pilferable" to you? I seem to remember you saying that the massaging shower heads were "highly pilferable". You even have me saying it now. :lmao: I actually told dh that we had to watch the golden eared mickey antannae topper on our van because it was "highly pilferable". He just looked at me oddly. Well, now you know how influential you are... Use that power wisely. :rotfl2:

I have had mickey and tigger toppers stolen and a flying tigger stolen.......:scared1: :scared1: At the outlet store close to wdw...... made me mad as heck!!!!!Now i take my ant... of and put it in the truck when im down there at disney...Its a sad world we live in.:confused3 :confused3

That is an army term - picked up when I was a supply officer. I'm surprised your husband hasn't used it.

What campground were you at in MD ?

I just put the ours on the wife's car last week and I was camping in MD over the weekend.

INDIAN ACRES ?

As a chaplain, he is so far removed from some of the day to day stuff. He uses more of the family life type terms like "speaker listener technique". "Yeah, you ticked me off and I am PMSing. The speaker listener technique is more like the I speak and you listen technique." ;) Sometimes I bet he wishes my hormones were "highly pilferable". :headache:

He does use a lot of acronyms as well. He has also only been in for just over 2 yrs, so I guess it is just a matter of time before he starts sounding more "army".

Back more on topic, the first purchase I will make when I get there in Feb will be a tire cover!!!

We had one of the plastic ones with Mickey on it. Managed to keep it for about 8 months. Came out of the shopping mall one day and it was gone. :sad2:

See, highly pilferable

Definitions:

Non pilferable - too large, ugly or useless to be stolen (does not include bigdisneydaddy)

Pilferable - somewhat useful item, probably not attractive or can be purchased somewhere cheaply, but desirable nonetheless. (maybe bigdisneydaddy)

Highly pilferable - attractive or very useful item, hard to find and/or expensive. Definitely worth stealing.

This ends today's Army supply vocabulary lesson.

Same here, if I can't lock it or bolt it to my vehicle, I'm not buying it!!

I had an antenna topper on my old Escort Wagon and never had any problems with it being pilfered (it was super glued on), however the antenna went up at an angle going rear.

On my Sport Trac, my antenna is straight up and my topper caused the antenna to go whop whop all over the place over 50 MPH, so I took it off.

Pirate Jeff couldn't have been you all, we were at a campground close to the PA line. Thank you all for your answers...

I have several Disney antanae toppers and change them regularly. Many are holiday themed and it personalizes my little car. As an added bonus it makes my little car easier to spot in the parking lot and I have come to depend upon it. If someone was to pilfer my topper I would probably wander around the parking lot for hours stopping at every little silver car. My most recent antanae topper purchase was a lime green Mickey so I can identify myself as a Diser while at Disney this Christmas.:thumbsup2
