Have you done this? I'd love to get your feedback. I am thinking about doing this during our MK park break on Jan. 1st. It will be my son's 11th birthday and with such long park hours that day (9AM-2AM) I thought this might be something we could do to unwind a bit before we head back to MK for the EMHs. We are staying at WL. How much time do we need to give ourselves to boat and bus to the trading post?

Thanks!

We stayed at FW in October and took our DD to the campfire - she loved it! It was really so worth it IMO. Have a great trip!!

Also, wanted to answer your other questions. The boat depends, most likely that should take too long though, but if you have to wait for one to arrive it could be a little bit. Once you get to FW you'll have to go catch a bus to the camp fire. The buses run very frequently so you shouldn't have more than a 10-15 minute wait (if that!). Once you're on the bus it's no more than a 5 minute ride.

The campfire is loads of fun! Just check in the camping section and find the movie schedule and go on the night of a movie you would love to see.

My kids always loved th campfire. Y'all have fun!!

1) This would be great for you and the kids.
2) We like dinner at Trail's End Buffet, then go to the Campfire
3) A somewhat cheap evening, and it is lots of fun.

I took my 5 year old grandson one night..it was great...Chip and Dale are the most outgoing of all the characters I met.
