If you stay at a cabin do you have a parking space right at your cabin or do you have to park in a lot and take a bus to your cabin? If that is the case how far away from your cabin can the bus stops be?

You have a parking space at your cabin. However, it's for one car only. If you have more than that, the extras will have to be parked at the entrance of Fort Wilderness.

Right at your cabin. We had room to park an SUV plus a rented golf cart. It's a wonderful place to stay, enjoy!!

How is the pool at FW? I am assuming that you have to take a bus to get to the pool. My dad walks with a cane so I am trying to figure out if a cabin would be a good idea for us or not.

Many rent a golf cart to drive around the Fort. You can't drive your car to pools or other places inside the campground. Disney rents golf carts which are not cheap. There are offsite companies that rent carts cheaper, but I don't have their names. On my trips to Ft. Wilderness I rented from Disney. It is the best way to get around because it is spread out. They have upgraded the main pool to Moderate resort standards.

Thank you for everyone's input! It is extremely helpful!!
