How comfortable are the murphy beds in a FW cabin? Can 2 average sized adults sleep comfortably on them? We are a family of 5 and would love to try a cabin. It would be great to put the kids in the bedroom and be able to chill out after they go to bed.

When we were there in 2004, we found it comfortable enough. It is a full size bed though, not a queen. The cabins agre great for the extra space and the ability to put the kids to bed early if you want.

the murphy bed is very soft, it reminds me of a cot mattress as it has no box spring, dh and I who are average sized were not so happy with it because he is a mover and shaker when he sleeps, and I am not, so the super soft mattress made it much worse. We have a king at home, so it was a tough adjustment. i ended up sleeping on the other bed most nights in the back bedroom and he took the murphy...but we also only had 2 kids with us.

Our son and now daughter-in-law thought the bed was just fine for them. Of course, they had just gotten engaged the day before! :rotfl2:

Just remember that the murphy bed is in the living room and thus there is no privacy if the kids get up and wander in. Having the extra space in the cabins is wonderful though!---Kathy
