Greetings,

Are the FW and POR Carriage Rides kid friendly? Is one of them more so than the other?

Our DD is 4yo, and our DSs are 5.5yo and 18mo.

I'm most concerned about our kids disturbing other guests by being too loud or otherwise 'visible' during the ride... :Pinkbounc <---picture of our 18mo DS in action.

Since we are staying at ASMo, I believe the best way to get to POR for a carriage ride would be to take the Disney bus to DD, and the ferryboat from DD to POR. Is there any charge to ride the ferryboat?

And, I guess it is a bus ride to FW from anywhere?

Thanks,

Tim ==

When our kids were 3.5 and 18months last spring we did the carriage ride at FW which by the way you can get to by boat from the MK or any of the MK resorts. I honestly wouldn't recommend it for such young kids. Mine liked it for the first 2 minutes and then were quickly bored because the carriage of course goes pretty slow. Near the end of the ride, my crazy 18 mo old DD was trying to jump out while it was still moving!
Another option to look into might be the hay ride at FW which I'm going to look into for this trip or the pony rides that are offered at FW. Of course it depends on your kids, but I just thought I'd share our experience. :goodvibes

Happy to make you smile! Let me just say that she makes us laugh everyday, but also makes us pull our hair out. Last year she LITERALLY swung from our chandalier! (i think I spelled that wrong) :earboy2:

dtsaos - I don't blame your 18 month old for wanting to jump out....I wanted to jump out too. It was soooooo boring!
