Future Ship Names

Here are my top 5 choices for names of the new ships!:

1. Disney Imagination
2. Disney Enchanment
3. Disney Adventure
4. Disney Radiance
5. Disney Wish

My struggle is that Carnival has laid claim to most of the other "Disney" sounding names. Not that that means they can't use them (I don't think).

Yeah I mean RCL uses Radiance already and Carnival has a ship titled Magic

I would vote for Disney O'Hana since the ships are all about family. Plus the Disney Castle would be unique and every Disney park has one.

While "Believe" would make a good cruise ship name, I wonder if they'd actually do it. Isn't or wasn't that the name of SeaWorld's signature Orca show? Not only are they a competitor, but Orca training has gotten a lot of bad press, so anything that reminds people of the competition in a bad way might not be the best name.

Believe is also the name of one of the shows on the Dream & Fantasy.

If they are going to be based in Asia I think that will influence the names as they will have to translate well and be appropriate. For example, I like the idea of "Wish" but if that sounds like a bad word in Japanese then it will get tossed out.

I had also put O'Hana down in an earlier post. The only problem with O'Hana is they would have to make a slight adjustment to the O'Hana saying:

O'Hana means family. And family means if your excursion is running late but you booked it with DCL; nobody is left behind.
If not, you WILL BE waving goodby to the back of the ship if you don't show up before departure time.
