Thank you! And now you do the same for others on their first trip.

I am really interested in experiencing Christmas at US. I really want to see the Macy's Parade but don't know anything about it. This will be my first time doing US during Christmas. Do you need special ticket to go? Are there other special Christmas events there?

All Christmas festivities are included in theme park admission...including the Christmas Concert Series shows on Saturday nights at the Studios. Grinchmas is scheduled throughout each day at IOA and the Macy's Holiday Parade is daily at the Studios.

BTW...I think you meant to say you were interested in experiencing Christmas at US. ;)

No separate ticket, it's just basically a parade at the end of the day. Has some of the smaller balloons actually used in the NYC parade, and the typical Universal characters. Worth seeing once.

Throughout US, some of the larger balloons (like 2 stories tall) from the parade are set up for photo ops. Giant Christmas tree as well. The Blues Brothers do a special Christmas show. Past couple years, they've done big concerts on Saturdays (Manheim Steamroller had all the dates last year), and last year they had smaller a capella shows every night as the park was closing.

In IoA, there is a special Grinch show (again, included with your ticket) and a lot of the characters from the Grinch walk around Seuss Landing.

Thanks for all the help.

Now I can run out to Costco, get my tickets, strap down the girls for the Harry Potter ride and see the Christmas parade. I am all set for the US portion of my trip.

Although last time I ate at the NBA restaurant and got violently ill. I may have to rethink my restaurant choices.
