We're looking into doing this excursion in Feb, does anyone know where the beach is that they stop at? I can't seem to find it on a map - their website says "private beach with Aqua Park" I see in one photo a huge white tent just up the beach. Anyone??

I just found this post and I'm wondering the same thing? Does anyone recall what beach the Fury Catamaran stops at?

I don't remember them ever mentioning the name of the beach, but it was a private stretch of beach next to another private (resort) stretch of beach. That was a highlight of our trip. DH and kids (12,11,7) had a ball playing in the water on the inflatable slides and obstacles. They also enjoyed the hammocks and beds.

Thank you for your post! Do you recall if there was any shops for souvenirs, etc by the beach? I know Playa Mia has some shops on their property.

We did this last June. My two girls loved the inflatables too although I was a nervous wreck watching them...I was so afraid they would get trapped under one of them when they fell off! There were a few I just didn't let them go on for that reason (a round trampoline type one for sure). They did have a stand there that sold food and a few souveniers. My girls also loved the hammocks but I will say there were a lot of biting sand fleas back there by them. The catamaran ride itself was nice. The staff was amazing and fun. We didn't do too well with the snorkeling. It was a first for my two girls (ages 10, 12) and snorkeling in the open water was overwhelming for them--trying to swim/stay afloat and coordinate breathing thru the snorkel was too hard so after a few minutes we just sat back and enjoyed the boat. But I did feel that the staff was very safety oriented and they were right out there in the water to help anyone that needed it. It was a fun day.
