How about heard?
Yesterday while driving through Nashville, Tn I was listening to a local radio station as they prepared to give an update on the traffic conditions.
The announcer suddenly busted out the 'F' word, not once but twice before the airwaves went suddenly quiet.

A moment later he came back on, and went on as if nothing had happened. I wonder if he knew it had gone out?

I have seen some youTube stuff but never heard such a blunder 'live.'

Today during History class my teacher called me up so I could see what I made on my quiz. I made a 100%, then I say to her, "I thought I missed two on the back." She flips it over and there is no back. XD
