Ok we've had most shocking things but what's the funniest thing that has ever happened to you at the parks?

Our happened this past trip 10/16-10/22/04. We (me, dh,dds 9 and 15) had just finished getting off Mission to Mars when my dd 15 walked up to her dad (who had on a white tee shirt) and started talking about how cool the ride was. All the sudden she heard laughter and looked up and she was arm in arm with a really cute guy who looked to be about 18-20. He was laughing, all his friends were laughing and she was shocked, turned beet red and then started laughing. She quickly appologized which he said don't mention it (dd is drop dead model beautiful, not just me saying that) . We joked the rest of the vacation about it! :hyper:

Also the same dd kept asking why so many people were from England (alot !) and asked wasn't there a DW in europe. I told her yes there was one in Paris that was fine if you spoke "PARISIAN". They dds and dh are STILL laughing at that one (I'm a teacher for high IQ kids which makes it twice as bad!)lol. :hyper: :hyper:

What's yours?

Once at Disneyland, I had a bird poo on my shirt on Tom Sawyer Island. Then, 2 years later my boyfriend had a bird poo on his shoulder at MGM. The next year, I had another bird poo incident at Epcot. We joke with each other about whose turn it will be on each trip.

Well, my trip 10/15-10/22 just so happens that my sort of funny thing happened on Mission Space too. We had all gone to the ice cream social and then immediately after that we had fast passes for test track so we went over and did that, then they all wanted to do Mission Space and my dh's relative that is a Cm had a friend who worked there so they didn't have to wait. The first time they rode, it was my dh, the family member cm, dh's granpa and dh's aunt, they all came out and said it was fab so dh, dh's mom, dh's aunt and this time my ds get on, well they all come out and they are dying laughing, dh is missing....they said he threw up... if you ever saw my dh you would laugh too, here is this 6' big tough guy puking it out on a ride, and believe me he isn't afraid to ride anything. At first I thought they were just joking but when he just never came out for a while I knew they weren't, he finally came out, he was smiling but I knew he was embarassed. He said the spinning and the large amounts of ice cream he consumed earlier just didn't mix. He did get a free shirt out of the deal though. That was my funny story,.

:D When my DS, age 5 at the time (now 22...yikes) told a CM at MK that, yes he was having fun "but it's hot as hell here" (Last time we went in July). It was then that I learned my lesson about little ears!!!!:teeth:

We got off the bus at the Pleasure Island market place. It was the first time we'd ever been there. I was walking across a grassy embankment and it had rained a lot there. It was right after the hurricanes. Well, my whole leg up to the SHIN sunk in the mud. When I pulled it out, it made a sucking noise! Then I had to go into the restroom and stick my whole FOOT in the sink to rinse off the mud. People were surely looking at me strangely.

At the Hoop Dee Doo, we had left side upper level seats right at the railing.

At one point, the right side of the audience yells, "Yeeeehaw!" and the left side yells, "Yaaaahooow!" back and forth and back and forth.

Just as it was time for another Yaahow from our side, they cut all the lights, there's instant silence, and a spotlight goes right on a cute little girl sitting on the left side upper level right at the railing and a stage performer points at her as a recording booms out a very deep voiced Yaahoow as if this little girl could yell like that!

Very funny, specially since it was our DD5 who got spotlighted.

So without missing a beat, she yells out, clear as a bell in the silence, "It wasn't me! I'm only five!!!"

The whole place went up for grabs and even the stage performers laughed!

It was a great WDW moment for us!

My funniest moment was when I took my DD - then 6 - to the restroom. As she was sitting on the potty she leaned forward just enough to set off the automatic flusher. You've never seen a child come off a toilet so fast - and the look on her face was priceless! Poor baby - I know it scared her, but I was laughing so hard the tears were rolling down my face! My DH and 2 DS's sure wanted to know what was going on when we came out of there!

I'm waiting for someone to post "Yeah, I just got off M:S and some cute girl was holding my arm talking to me like I was her father"! It's always funny when I read stories here - I am always making sure it's not me that's mentioned!

I look forward to having kids and see WDW through a whole new set of eyes.

This May when I was walking along in Epcot looking at the floral displays at the International Flower and Garden Festival, a little girl, maybe 3, grabbed ahold of my shirt I had on...I never felt her grab it in the back. She was just walking with me, thinking I was her Mom or Grandma I guess. Anyway, my DH tells me...you seem to have picked up a hitchhiker!!! Luckily her folks spotted her right after my DH saw her tagging along with me. She had crawled out of one of those double strollers and just decided to join us, so her folks said...I guess we must look like good tour guides...:sunny:

In the line for Peter Pan I heard a man and his son talking about my family in Spanish (we were wearing matching shirts and we had 5 kids at the time.) He said to his son something like "Look at all those kids in one family in the same shirts," thinking I couldn't understand, so I replied "Si, y todos azul," with a very big smile. Not perfect Spanish, but enough that he realized that I understood him, and they got bright red.

Then a few moments later, a man walked by with a Birthday button on, and THEN he realized that it was my birthday. OOOPS! Suddenly, my whole family looks at me sheepishly and says "Happy Birthday Mom." It was 4pm! I milked that one good, getting a very nice selection of desserts at the bakery on the way back to the cabins.

Mom and I (I was 26 at the time) were on a big hidden mickey kick. we were in cranium command and looking for hidden mickey's so when i found one i yelled "there it is" very excited. Well it took everything we had to hold our laughter until the movie was over. It was a good thing that the theatre was almost empty and I think the people in it actually knew what I was talking about. We still laugh about using the "inner voice" when in a theatre. mom never thought she'd have to tell her grown child about that!
