We have all laughed at the funny things wdw guests say (the internet is full of wdw guest jokes!), but how about the funny, strange and unexpected things you've heard cast members say? I bet a lot of them could cause a good laugh!

To start off, I spoke to a CM today who said to me: "May I ask why you are staying at All-Star Sports on your wedding anniversary? Wouldn't you prefer something a little more...romantic?"

Man...saying that isn't cool unless the CM was about to comp you an upgrade to somewhere more romantic!

I met an off-duty CM at DisneyQuest who was a real character. We were waiting for the Buzz Lightyear ride (like bumper cars with cannonballs). They line you up in rows, 1A, etc. This guy turns to me and my buddy and say "Excuse me...THIS or not THIS?" Pointing down, he was standing on circle "2B." :rolleyes2 He was a hoot though. My friend asked if he "worked here" since he was giving off that vibe. He replied, "I work here, but I don't work HERE," gesturing with his hands that he was WDW CM but did not work at DQ specifically...at least I think so. He was a weird fella, but made the inordinately long wait for that ride/game very fun.

In the magic kingdom............. DAD!!!! what are you doing here????? I thought you were coming down Thursday!!!!! MOM!!!!! (hug, hug, boohoo.boohoo) hey...... can you pick me from work tonight? can I have some money? :lmao:

My cousin is a CM and always has great stories. Apparently a lot of parents complain when face characters (especially princesses) are different from day to day because it upsets their children... and I guess some parents aren't realistic about it. She said she generally doesn't have great comebacks, but some CMs are really good at coming up with something on the spot. A man complained about Alice not looking as good as the day before (apparently she had an oddly long neck) and the CM said they just don't know what to do with her because she keeps eating those cookies/drinking the 'drink me' drinks.

I can only imagine the crazy stuff visitors stay to the CM's?! that could make an interesting book.

Lol. Oooooohhh they can tell you stories for hours. Lol
Some funny some not so funny. I have a new respect for cms. They are special people.

On our trip last year a CM working Peter Pan's flight was hysterical. He was pretending to sprinkle fairy dust on the lap bar when they automatically closed. Kids looked at him in amazement. Funny nice touch.

:thumbsup2

when dd was little, she was wearing a pooh shirt. a CM stopped her and said " eeewww, you got pooh on your shirt"

a few years ago I had a happy birthday pin on. our server wished me a happy birthday and ask how old am I now. :lmao: (old enough to be your father.:lmao:)

dd was working in tomorrow land one night last summer and it started to pour like crazy. she got soaked. they were real slow because of the rain and they started blasting the music.so she started dancing and a few guest joined in.(she was a competitive dancer for 12 years and loves to dance)

a few days later, one of her managers said they had to talk to her about what went on a few nights ago. :scared1: it seems the people she was dancing with had went to city hall and had her "written up " (what they call a 4 key card)and the guest said dd made there night and wanted to thank her for dancing in the rain cheering them up on a rainy night. :thumbsup2
