Funny thing Madison said...just want to share

6 yo Madison came to me the other day........and said
"mom, is it true when you are young you want to be older and when you are older you want to be younger??"......It caught me offguard for a minute....but man.....it is the truth....isn't it...I asked her where she heard that and she said from Morgan (her 9 yo sister)....isn't that funny...BUT true...I thought so.

How fun - I love when they start making astute observations, even when they're quoting others. It shows they're really thinking.

My seven year old picked up an expression the other day. He now manages to find a way to squeeze the words "Is it just me, or..." into almost every conversation. We were all doing it in the car tonight on the way home from swimming just to rib him. Fortunately he could see the humor in it.

I'm constantly amazed at how my little babies turned into big people.
