What's your funny memories of DLRP?

I forgot to mention this in my trip report. But I was chatting to my friend Liz when she told me she had removed the contents of her mini bar to fit their water in. I told her that the bar was sensored and that she would get charged for it all and she told me I was wrong. But she had decided to keep the information to herself. They got back to their room and they'd had a phone call and a note to the room concerning the amount they had spent on the mini bar as they hadn't swiped a credit card. This was when Frank disocvered what had happened. They got a refund and the maid rearranged the mini bar to allow them to put their water on the top shelf.

The other one is funny now but at the time I didn't find it funny. Ds was 14 months and we were walking through Fantasyland when Tweedledum and Tweedledee walked past. One of them snatched the buggy and ran away with me hysterically running after him. He wouldn't stop and then would only give him back once they'd been photo'd together.

Here's one of mine...

On my last trip in May we (8 of us) were in Au Chalet de Marionnette for the Breakfast in Fantasyland when my Mum spotted a mouse running across the floor.

Now my Mum isn't the biggest lover of mice; if you get my drift; and jumped out of her seat quickly followed my Sister-in-Law who also shares the same love of mice.

Anyway, the two ladies had to exit the restaurant; much to the amusement of the ‘boys’; and I tried to tell one of the guys clearing up about the fact there was a rogue mouse on the loose.

The problem was I can only speak limited French (hello, goodbye, please and thanks!) and this guy spoke even worse English, so I’m trying to explain the situation and he thought I wanted to know where Mickey Mouse was!

As you can imagine there was much descriptions with hands going on with me trying to explain that the mouse was small and running across the floor, and him saying “big” and pointing to outside.

This went on for about 5 minutes until another member of the team come over and when I explained it to her she immediately rushed off to get it sorted.

Then of course I had to get 4 lads; aged between 3 and 12; out of the restaurant whilst they were all determined to “see the mouse”.

What a nightmare!!!

My DD would have been hysterical at this. She wasn't overly keen on characters last year and did wake up once to Baloo who'd knocking over her buggy whilst she was sleeping trying to 'apologise' in front of her. I think she hoped she was still dreaming :guilty:
