I discovered a whole know meaning to Taking a Kidani Trip:
Heading down the hall to the community center there are some of the most beautifully polished floors I've ever seen (a dark mahogany color, polished to the point of being almost like mirrors). My foot caught and I stumbled a bit. OK, no deal, wrote it off as bring tired. Then on the way back I did it in the same spot before. Deja vu! Hehe. Again, no biggie, I'm a clutz. The funny thing was just before I was heading back there was a gentleman in front of me who did the same thing near the same spot ...
I think the floor has a very slight grade to it that when tired people drag their foot a mere millimeter over the surface, we trip.
Has anyone else experienced the Kidani Trip? I wanted to hang out in the corridor and see how many people I could catch stumbling - like the old "you're on hidden camera" thing
make sure I'm not the clutz y'know? But my heart says "get real, you know it was you"
BTW - Those who know me know this is meant to be read with a fun tone. I'm not poking holes in one of my most favorite resorts - I love kidani - I just think this adds to the personality of the place, like it's telling us to slow down and watch nature.
