Last time we were at the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Buddy Boil was doing the "psychic" joke where he guesses a number from someone in the crowd. Well, the way it works is he tells someone in the crowd to think of a number and tell it to everyone in the audience while he "covers his eyes", thus he hears the number. Well, this lady would NOT say the number out loud, so instead she whispered it to her husband. Which Buddy Boil says "Did you tell everyone the number?", she says "Yes" and he says "You did?" He then pauses for a moment and says, "Ok, how about this, I'll think of a number and you try to guess it." So he tells the lady to guess the number, which she says "27", and Buddy Boils mouth drops open in shock! :rotfl2:

Here is one of mine. I have an uncanny ability to have my jokes picked. Well, one day I had 2 picked....and they were the only 2 picked!:rotfl: The little monster who reads them actually said "either she is a good texter or the rest of you are just lazy".

My DH was "That Guy" on our first visit!! He's a tall, bald guy and totally played it up each time he was on the screen (he counted 6 times total!). For the end, the young monster said for Halloween he was going to go as . . . . "That Guy." (DH did get a sticker that says, "I was That Guy . . . " which was cool!) :lmao:

The next time we went was during MNSSHP, and we were wearing matching t-shirts, so we were picked for the "They have two heads like us!" part where they do the geography items about where you live. They had to "Talk to the big head first (my DH)," so of course I've been calling him Big Head since the trip. :rotfl:

It's a load of fun, and I highly recommend going!!!! :goodvibes

Last month when I saw it for the very 1st time one of the characters asked us to yell out where we are from. I said Canada and they must have heard me because they started making some Canadian jokes.

Funny how being That Guy is an instant minor celebrititydom. My dad was a 'That Guy' on at the Laugh Floor back in May. We went to one of the first early morning shows.

...going around the park late that day, we got stopped by people who recognized him 3 separate times!!! "Hey...you were That Guy in the Monster's Inc. show!" We even got a picture with someone's kids, who wanted a picture with him!

So funny...we loved this. And my brother was "that guy" and I couldn't stop laughing every time he was on the screen. He also was recognized by people walking around as being "that guy". Good job Disney..this one is a keeper!

Oh I loved our "That Guy!"

When we went a few weeks ago, Marty asked one of the kids what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said "A Princess" And then he asked her "Do you know what I want to be when I grow up?" and she said "A Doggie?!" Well, everyone lost it at that point! Then Marty said "Well, I was thinking of being a doggie!" Me and DH bring that up all of the time now. :)

My son was That Guy. Oh my it was great. He is 16 years old with alot of hair and it was perfect. Everytime they showed his picture the audience went crazy. My DD's thought it was great they were picking on her brother. We went back again another day and my DD's text got picked. I have to say I love this show.

My DH got recognized a couple of times, too! So funny!!! Thankfully, no one wanted his picture or an autograph, or I would really be living with The Big Head!!! :rotfl:

I was "That Guy" too! Had a blast!! Next day we were at Animal Kingdom and 2 kids came up to me saying they recognized me. It was fun.

When we were there I realized I was on the big screen with "Likes to Kiss Monsters" under me and then it panned over to Dh and said "Monster". Then when they ask for a kid volunteer my ds was picked and said we lived in Wisconsin and they asked him if that is where the Eiffel Tower is and a couple more questions. He loved it and dd loved seeing all of us on the screen. That is a very cool show!

When we were there, my dh was tired and sitting with an unhappy look on his face. So, of course he was on the big screen with "Needs a hug" under his picture!

My 13 yo DD and I were able to stop for a short Disney weekend on the way home from a visit with family in Puerto Rico. She is at the age that is so easy to embarrass. I leaned over and whispered to her: if they put me on the screen, I'm going to make a face. Wouldn't you know it? A couple of minutes later I saw my face and looked as shocked as everyone else had. Instead of looking abashed though, I dropped the stuff in my hands and pulled my ears out, crossed my eyes and made fishy lips. Eveyone busted up laughing and clapped thier hands. The CM's put: Good Job! Good Job! Good Job! under my face. After my picture left I looked over at my daughter laughing and she slid down in her seat with a look of horror on her face. She said "I could just die!" Ahhhh, the joy of parenthood!:goodvibes :goodvibes

Just got back last week - I was the guy who "felt the sudden urge to dance"

I got up and did the funky chicken - along with some other moves designed to embarass my daughter. She LOVED it! I even got a round of applause! We have SO MUCH FUN at WDW!!

My daughters name is Jacey and she is soooooo shy. She gets on camera and Buddy asks her her name. She sayd Jacey (like J.C.). Buddy says "it too bad your parents gave you 2 initials and not a real name". She thought that was hysterical. So now she loves the show.:thumbsup2

Wow, this sounds exciting! Can't wait to get a chance to do it. I guess it was worth all that trouble with postponing the opening?
