Or you get to the point where you throw the gift in a bag and hope to have some tissue paper for it!!

I haven’t wrapped a gift in many many years. EVERYTHING goes in a gift bag. I have about two dozen Holiday bags in various sizes, plus Birthday and other occasions too.

As for having enough tissue paper, I bought some about a week ago “just in case,” then when I opened the tote of gift bags, I discovered FOUR unopened packs of tissue paper plus various opened packs.

Speaking of reasons for just giving gift certificates I present the following example. For the sake of honesty, I did this when I didn't have to. One of my grandchildren requested this item from amazon. It is just a wall print w/frame and Amazon sent it in this ginormous box. The actual wall print is about 2.5" deep X 36" long X 24" high. The box it came in is 58" X 40" X 15". I thought it was just be fun to wrap the shipping box and add a huge bow. I went to Dollar Store and bought two rolls of wrapping paper and a clown sized bow. I used both rolls completely. I had to splice the two rolls side by side and then had to figure out how I was supposed to actually wrap it when I was by myself and had no help to do it. (Hint: an extra person would have been vastly easier) Just for the curious it took over an hour to do it and made me vow to never do anything that stupid again. This is it. It's actually a birthday gift that is just 3 days after Christmas.
