OK, I just have to share this story. I'm going through the DL site with my 3-yr-old daughter, and showing her Pixie Hollow and pictures of Ariel's Grotto and (as we're watching Tangled) I told her that she can meet Rapunzel. She is having a heart attack! She is so excited - no more escaping the character lines for me! Anyway, she is quite concerned about how we're going to get up in Rapunzel's tower, wants to know if we're going to ride her hair to get up there! :rotfl: She is also wondering if Tinkerbell is going to teach her how to fly... Ah, the joy of a 3-yr-old!

OK, have to end this post, someone wants to see the castle "again again again!"!! :)

that is sooooooooo cute! love when kids have imaginations like that! my DD4 is really excited about DL coming up in 2 weeks, and I just can't wait for little moments like that!

Awwww, how cute is that!!!! Thanks for sharing! My little princesses are all growing up now. The youngest are 8 1/2. Enjoy the magic years!!

My three year old sister wanted to make sure the "evil witch" from snow white wouldnt poison her or I with a poison apple. It was too cute!

My DD3 asked me why we need to find a hotel? Why not sleep in the Disney Castle? LOL

I had to tell her that the castle is only open when there is a Big Ball or some special occasion like that

And on her mind she expects to have something like a playdate where she can exchange accessories with the princesses to try them on.

When one of my nieces was about 3, we were discussing the Princesses, and she informed me they were just cartoons and pretend. (She had never been to Disneyland. We were going to take her on her first trip a few days later) I looked at her puzzled and asked if she was sure. She said she was. I said I thought they lived at Disneyland, and that AJ (my son, her cousin who is 20 years older) had met them and he thought they were real. I showed her pictures of him with various princesses from Goofy's kitchen. Her jaw dropped and she whispered "They are real!" During her trip, we took her to Ariel's for lunch. She was so excited. She sat at our table looking at the princesses entering and had her autograph book ready the instant they were at our table!!

Awww how sweet ~ DD *now 8 - my how time has flown* was 3 months away from her 3rd B-day for her 1st DLR visit - she chatted with Aurora beside *her* castle one afternoon and was in awe, she gave A a flower she had picked :rolleyes1 I will remember that moment forever. She was also a big fan of the Mickey head lolliepops - you get 6 or so in a bunch, primary colors *just Mickey's head, no eyes, etc.

We first took our DGD, who's now 8 but was 5 at the time, to WDW. We set up the whole princess trip, including lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table on the day after we got there. We made a personal invitation to lunch, from Cinderella herself, delivered by Tinkerbelle, who knocked on the door, pushed the invitation under the door jamb, and disappeared before anyone could answer ;)

So we got to the castle, and as you know if you've been, you stand in line for personal interaction and a picture with Cinderella. And, to everyone's surprise, DGD handed a card to Cinderella that she (DGD) had drawn. I guess she figured it was polite to give a thank you card, since Cindy had sent her an invitation. It was soooo cute!

I know this isn't as cute as the others but when I was five I was piss scared of Jafar and wouldn't go anywhere near him. :scared1:

That reminds me of my little sister when we were kids. I think she was 4 or 5 and had gotten a Goofy doll that she was quite fond of. She showed it to the character Goofy, and, being goofy, he pretended to eat it. My parents have a great picture of her absolutely hysterical staring up at him in horror!! To this day I'm pretty sure she hates Goofy, and she's 31!! :rotfl:

Haha! We took my now 17 year old niece to a character breakfast when she was turning 4 and she was TERRIFIED of either Chip or Dale...I can't remember which one, but she could tell them apart and would only run away from the same one every time!

I told my princess: (4) that her freckles were from fairies kissing her when she sleeps. Next time she saw her aunt (who is a red head, so you can imagine), she said "WOW Tinkerbell must REALLY like you!"
